ADEC Innovations KM Wins Bronze for Best Technology Solution at 2019 Edutech Asia Awards

November 5, 2019, Singapore—ADEC Innovations Knowledge Management (KM) received a Bronze award for the Best Classroom Technology Solution during the recently concluded 2019 EduTECH Asia Awards held in Singapore.

The award was in recognition of ADEC Innovations KM’s Global Language Program, a comprehensive suite of tech-enabled solutions combined with tried-and-tested learning methodologies developed to deliver English, Mandarin, Nihonggo and other global language lessons to schools and partners in Asia more effectively.

ADEC Innovations KM is the only education technology provider from the Philippines to be nominated and awarded on this year’s EduTECH Asia Awards. For this edition, the second biennial derby recognized the best solutions and initiatives out of more than 300 entries from all across Asia.

Receiving the award were Managing Director Lilian Reventar, Head of Operations Marge Caparros, Product and Business Development Manager Max Ortega, Account Manager Arlyn Susa, and Business Analyst Je-Anne Lucero.

Earlier, Ortega presented a talk in front of leaders and representatives of the education sector during the EduTECH Asia Expo. In his presentation, Ortega shared his experience in corporate learning and organizational development on how administrators can minimize the effect of unconscious bias on school leadership. The talk was well received as leaders were given a new perspective being applied in admissions, assessments and mentoring.

“With the use of sustainable educational technology, biases can be lessened, leading to a more meaningful learner experience,” he said.

Now on its fourth year, EduTECH Asia focused on how technology has made a profound impact on education. The expo brought together practitioners, leaders, and policymakers from the education sector in Asia for three days of workshops and discussions.
